This award is to promote the 11M band and activations on inland water islands.
And don’t forget is before an hobby !
CONDITIONS TO VALID CONTACTS :
To RC HQ valid an activation, it’s necessary :
Be on the island and not around,
Minimum of 50 QSO must be realized during the first activation on 11m and 25 QSO for a reactivation.
The operator of the activation must send the log (Excel format) as soon as possible after the activation with proof (photos and GPS coordinates) to the RC HQ.
REFERENCE :
The reference of the inland water island is composed like (this is specialy to 14 div. and french territories)
The 2 first numbers are the number of the french department,
The 3 others numbers are sequence number
and the end by a letter :
R to River,
L to Lake
M to Marais (water swamp)
Is considered to be inland water island, a part of land completely surrounded by fresh water and located on the same river. Emergences bordered by two different rivers ARE NOT VALID !

An island on two cities will count double (n ° 1 and n ° 2 in the case where it have the same name)

For any new reference, this one must to be on air in the month following the allocation. If the IWI is not on air, we can tolerated a 2 months deadline if the justification is real. After 2 months this reference will be remove.
HOW TO OBTAIN THE AWARD :
To obtain the RC IWI Award, it’s necessary to have contacted a minimum of 25 IWI activated by the group RC. Send by e-mail, the list of the IWI contacted to : rc.info@rcdx.org
